Lightning, thunderstorm warning issued for 11 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Centre here has issued lightning and thunderstorm warning for 11 districts of the State today.

“Thunderstorm accompanied with accompanied with moderate rainfall in one or two places over Sundergarh, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri and Ganjam districts till 11.30 PM,” an IMD bulletin said.

People have been advised not to venture out of home during this time and have been asked to take shelter in safe places.
