Lightning, thunderstorm warning issued for these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued lightning, thunderstorm and light to moderate rainfall warning for nine districts of Odisha.

Thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Jajpur, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Khordha, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkanagiri and Kendrapara between 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM today, said a release issued by the met centre.

Residents of these districts have been asked to remain alert and stay indoors in view of the lightning activities.
