Lizard found in midday meal in Odisha’s Jajpur, more than 18 kids fall ill
Jajpur: More than 18 students of a primary school in Bari block of Jajpur district were taken ill after consuming midday meal today.
Reportedly, like any other day, midday meal was served to the students of Phulupura Primary School. But while consuming the midday meal, one of the students found a lizard from the plate. Following this, students who had taken midday meal complained of uneasiness and sickness.
With the help of some locals and family members, school authorities admitted the sick students to the Bari Community Health Centre. As per the latest reports, conditions of the students are stable now following the primary treatment.
Meanwhile, the local administration began probe into the matter to find out how a lizard fell in the midday meal.
