Locals panic as crack develops in river embankment in Odisha's Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A 200-meter-long crack developed in Kochila river embankment near Sailo under Dhamnagar block of Odisha's Bhadrak district leaving the residents of the area panic-stricken.

The crack started appearing last evening, emerging as a matter of concern for the villagers of three nearby panchayats.

On the other hand, locals have alleged that substandard construction work led to the development of the crack. They also said that such incidents took place in the recent past multiple times.
