Lockdown: Home delivery of food to begin in this Odisha district

Jajpur: Following several requests from the people,  the Jajpur district administration has given permission for home delivery of food from various various hotels and restaurants.

Reportedly, after discussions with some hoteliers, the district Collector gave his nod for initiating tele-food services in Jajpur Town and Byasanagar areas during the lockdown.  The administration has roped in seven hotels for the service. They have been asked to provide home delivery services only to customers, who order food over telephone. However, attending customers in the hotels have been strictly restricted. Strict action would be take against hotels to be found flouting the order.

A notification regarding the home delivery services has been issued by the district administration enlists details about the seven hotels with contact numbers.

As the state is going to remain under the second phase of lockdown , the district administration yesterday  exempted few services like opening of books stores, garages, electrical appliances and repairing shops and shops selling dairy products.
