Bhubaneswar, Jun 15:

Lopamudra Mishra, who alleged of being physically and mentally tortured by her industrialist father-in-law Trailokya Mishra and husband Sabyasachi, today, filed a fresh complaint with the police that some unidentified youths on Tuesday night threatened to kill her and kidnap her son.

Lopamudra today lodged a complaint at the Badagada police station in the Odisha capital in this regard.

“Five to six persons with knives barged into our house, hurled abuses at me and threatened to kill me. They threatened to kidnap my son if I went to the police or went to the media,” said Lopamudra to reporters.

“They had come to our Tankapani Road residence. They threatened to kill Lopamudra. They warned that if she complained against Trailokya Mishra or his son then she will be killed and her son will be kidnapped,” said Lopamudra’s brother, who had accompanied her to the police station.

While Lopamudra has alleged of her husband forcing her for wife-swapping, she has accused her father-in-law Trailokya Mishra and mother-in-law of subjecting her to physical and mental torture for dowry.

However, since there was no action on behalf of the police despite her lodging a complaint one month back, Lopamudra spilled all before the media on Tuesday.
