Bhubaneswar: Even after decrease of water level in almost all the rivers, heavy to very heavy rainfall is on the cards for Odisha in next 24 hours.
According to regional meteorological centre, Bhubaneswar, a low pressure area is likely to be formed over bordering areas in West Bengal in next 24 hours. Under its impact, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in some districts in Odisha.
"Intense rainfall is likely in Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sundergarh, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Angul, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada," said Bhubaneswar MeT.
The fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea in next two days.
