Bhubaneswar: Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining north OdishaGangetic West Bengal coasts, a low pressure area has formed over north Odisha and the adjoining Gangetic West Bengal. India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre today issued Orange Warning for the next 24 hours and Yellow Warning for the four days thereafter.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre mentioned, “Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Odisha.”
The highest maximum (day) temperature of 34.5oc was recorded at Jagatsinghpur and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 19.5oc was recorded at Boudh in the plains of Odisha.

Orange Warning (Be Prepared)- Heavy to very heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Bargarh, Nuapada, Sonepur, Bolangir and Deogarh.
Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri.

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Deogarh, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi and Bargarh.
