Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to develop over eastern parts of westcentral Bay of Bengal around June 8, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted today.
Prediction regarding further movement of the system was yet to be made by the IMD.
On the other hand, the Regional Meteorological Centre issued 'Yellow' warning for several Odisha districts till June 8. Rainfall is likely to increase in the state after June 8.
