Low pressure forms over Bay of Bengal; Rainfall likely to increase in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area has formed over westcentral Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.

Rainfall activity across Odisha is likely to increase from today due to the low pressure area.

"Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal, a low pressure area has formed over westcentral Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood," the IMD said.
