Low pressure likely to trigger heavy rainfall across Odisha till Aug 3

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is very likely to develop over northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, which would trigger heavy rainfall in several parts of Odisha till August 3, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.

Here’s day-wise weather forecast:

August 1: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Balasore districts. Light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at isolated places over remaining parts of Odisha.

August 2: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over Malkangiri, Rayagada and Puri districts. Light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at isolated places over remaining parts of Odisha.

August 3: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Naupada, and Angul districts. Light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at isolated places over remaining parts of Odisha.
