Low pressure over BoB to bring more rains in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Under influence of cyclonic circulation, a low pressure area formed over northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh coasts, informed the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, today.

The low pressure is likely to move west-northwestwards during next 2-3 days.

With formation of the low pressure over Bay of Bengal, Odisha may witness heavy to very heavy rainfall in several parts in upcoming days.

The weathermen predicted cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers for one or two areas of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Gopalpur, Paradip, Puri, Balasore and Bhadrak during next four days.
