Bhubaneswar: Fuel retailers cut the price of non-subsidized cooking gas cylinder by Rs 53 to Rs 57 after global LPG rates declined. In Bhubaneswar, a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder will cost Rs 839. After the latest price revision, a cylinder in Sambalpur will cost Rs 872.50, in Cuttack Rs 839.50, in Berhampur Rs 860.50 and in Balasore Rs 854.
The prices of non-subsidized LPG cylinder fell to Rs 805.50 in New Delhi and Rs 776.50 in Mumbai. Fuel retailers cut the cooking gas cylinder prices to Rs 839.50 in Kolkata and Rs 826 in Chennai. The new rates come into effect from today.
Last month, the Central government increased the prices of non-subsidized cooking gas cylinder by Rs 144 to Rs 150. Due to the increase in international LPG rates, the Centre had hiked the domestic LPG prices.
