Lulu Sena activists pelt eggs at ESI Hospital in Odisha capital

Alleging poor health services at the ESI Hospital in the Odisha capital owing to acute shortage of doctors, activists of Lulu Sena pelted eggs at the hospital in protest today.

Protestors alleged that due to non-availability of proper healthcare services at the hospital condition of those admitted was deteriorating instead of showing signs of improvement.

The condition of a patient, who was admitted to the hospital about a week back with a fractured leg has worsened as the wound has turned septic in the absence of proper health care, they alleged.

As tension prevailed over the incident, policemen in large number have been deployed at the hospital premises.
