Maa Tarini Temple in Odisha’s Ghatagaon reopens

Keonjhar: After being closed for 10 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Maa Tarini Temple at Ghatagaon in Odisha’s Keonjhar district reopened today with adherence to COVID protocols.

Servitors of the temple and their family members were initially allowed for darshan of the deity between 8 am and 9 am. Later, other devotees were allowed to enter the temple.

The temple will remain open in two phases from 8 am to 12.30 pm and from 4 pm to 6.30 pm.

Devotees will be allowed to enter the temple premises through gate no. 3, where they will undergo sanitization, while they will exit through gate no. 4. Wearing of mask and social distancing has been made mandatory inside the temple.

Those visiting the temple will not be allowed to offer prasad or light diyas inside the shrine.
