Bhubaneswar: All elementary and secondary schools in Odisha will remain closed on the occasion of Mahalaya on October 14.

The School and Mass Education department issued a notice in this regard today.

This apart, the elementary and secondary schools in Odisha will remain closed from October 20 to 29 (10days including 2 Sundays) for Puja vacation, read the notice.

All District Education Officers (DEOs) and Block Education Officers (BEOs) are directed to take the necessary action in this regard, said the S&ME department in the notice.
