Mahila Morcha demands arrest of BJD leader, aides for gang rape

BJP Mahila Morcha president Simantini Jena today alleged that Dhamanagar BJD block president Ashok Nayak and his associates have gang-raped a married woman in front of her husband within Dhusuri police station limits on December 7 and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits.
Condemning the heinous act, Jena alleged that the local police are trying to hush up the matter to protect Nayak, who is also Dhamanagar block chairman.
The BJP leader informed that the victim faced the ire of the BJD leader since her husband had exposed his illegal activities using the RTI Act.
Nayak’s associates in the crime are Purna Chandra Sahu (police official), Babulal Sahu, Sarat Sutar, Upendra Behera and Biswabhusan Nayak, alleged Jena.
