Mahima’s nephew; OSL staff appear before cops in Odisha’s Paradip

Paradip, Jan 15:

As summoned by Paradip police to appear before it, nephew of Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) Managing Director Mahimananda Mishra and the firm’s accountant appeared before the police in connection with the investigation into the Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL) General Manager Mahendra Swain murder.

Chinmay Mishra and accountant Rabindra Dalei appeared before the police as they were served notices for appearance on January 13.

This is the second time Dalei appeared before the police in this connection. The investigators reportedly questioned him pertaining to the financial transactions of the company during the murder.

Dalei had earlier appeared at the Paradip police station on January 10.

Notably, Mahima Mishra has been arrested over his alleged involvement in the murder which took place in Paradip on October 26 last year.

According to police, one Rakesh Choubey had received Rs 12 lakh cash in advance from OSL in September 2016 to eliminate Swain.
