Major reshuffle in Odisha Fire Services, here’re details

Bhubaneswar: A day after removing IPS officer BK Sharma as DG Fire Services and DGP in-charge posts, the State government today effected reshuffle in Fire Services department.

As per a notification issued by the Home department, the additional charge of Maheswar Swain as Chief Fire Officer, Fire Prevention Wing of the Directorate of Fire Service, Odisha, Cuttack is withdrawn with immediate effect.

However, he will continue as Director (CFO) of Odisha Fire and Disaster Response Academy (OFDRA), Bhubaneswar until further orders.

Similarly, Sukanta Sethy, Chief Fire Officer, Directorate of Fire Service, Odisha, Cuttack has been given additional charge of Fire Prevention Wing of the Directorate.

Arun Kumar Sarangi , Deputy Fire Officer, Fire Prevention Wing of Directorate of Fire Service, Odisha, Cuttack was transferred and posted as such in Bhawanipatna Circle.

Salil Praksha Kindo, Deputy Fire Officer, Bhawanipatna Circle has been transferred and posted as such in the Fire Prevention Wing of Directorate of Fire Service, Odisha, Cuttack.
