Man burns wife to death in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A woman died today after allegedly being set on fire by her husband at Koilipala village in Anandapur area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district.

Accused Prafulla Nayak reportedly poured kerosene on his wife Lija and set her ablaze. She sustained critical burn injuries and was admitted to Anandapur hospital.

The woman succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Father of the deceased has lodged a police complaint alleging that his son-in-law killed his daughter.
