Khordha: In a tragic incident, a participant in a mini-marathon died during the event here today.

The deceased was identified as Krushna Chandra Parida (53), a resident of Belapada village in Khordha district.

Parida died while he was running during mini-marathon that commenced from Kamguru panchayat office to Arisal village.

His body has been sent to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem. The exact cause behind his death can be ascertained after post-mortem.
