Man dies while performing yoga in Odisha’s Gajapati

Paralakhemundi: In an unusual incident, an elderly man died while performing yoga at a yoga camp here in Odisha’s Gajapati district this morning.

The camp was being held at the Hi-tech plaza ground in Ramnagar area, where more than 100 people had participated. The elderly man became unconscious while performing yoga and was rushed to Paralakhemundi hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The identity of the deceased was yet to be established till last reports came in. The exact reason behind the death of the person can be ascertained after the post-mortem, police said.
