Bargarh: In a tragic incident, a man committed suicide after hacking his son to death allegedly over property dispute here in the district.

The deceased persons were identified as PK Bariha (75) and his son PK Subarao.

The incident was reported from Paharsrigida village under Attabira police limits in Bargarh district.

According to reports, Bariha hacked his son to death with hatchet over land dispute yesterday night. Later, he was found hanging from the ceiling with a rope.

Attabira police reached the spot and recovered the bodies. They seized a hatchet used for killing the youth. The bodies have been sent for the postmortem.
