Man found hanging at temple in Odisha’s Angul

Angul: Body of a man was found hanging at a temple in Talcher area of Odisha’s Angul district, today. The deceased has been identified as Kalia Behera of nearby Ekadala village.

According to reports, the temple priest spotted the body hanging from a rope tied to a bell when he came to the temple this morning. On being informed by villagers, Talcher police reached the spot, recovered the body for post-mortem and started investigation.

Though the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that Behera was murdered and the body was later hanged at the temple.
