Man found hanging from tree on Bhubaneswar outskirts

Bhubaneswar: An elderly man was found hanging from a tree in a forest near Ghatikia on the outskirts of the state capital today. The deceased was identified as Budhia Gouda (65 ), a resident of  Godam Sahi area in Baramunda here.

Sources said some locals first spotted the body hanging from a tree and immediately called up the police. Soon after, the cops reached the spot,  recovered the body and sent it to hospital for autopsy.

Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be established, the family feud is suspected to have led to the incident. A local said Budhia had a war of words with his family members last night, following which he walked out of the house out of frustration.

However, an investigation is underway in connection with the incident.
