Man gets lifer for killing paramour’s husband in Odisha

Rayagada: The Rayagada District and Sessions Judge today awarded life imprisonment to one B Sibakumar for killing his paramour’s husband P Ramur in 2015.

The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 on him for the offence.

The judge pronounced the verdict after examining statements of nine witnesses in the case. However, the judge acquitted Ramur’s wife, who was also arrested by the Rayagada Government Railway Police (GRP) for the the murder, due to lack of evidence.

Worth mentioning, convict B Sibakumar had illicit relationship with P Ramur’s wife. He had stabbed him to death in 2015.
