In a tragic incident, a man was killed and his son was seriously injured in a road mishap today near Deogaon Bangla chhak in Odisha’s Bolangir district.

The man and his son who were travelling on a motorcycle were hit by a car leading to the death of the man on the spot and leaving his son critically injured, reports said.

The injured has been shifted to the nearest hospital, reports added.

While the driver of the car has managed to flee the spot, Deogaon police have registered a case and are investigating the matter, police said.
