Man kills four of his family in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Sundargarh: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly killed four members of his family, including two children, at Deulahudi village under Bonai police limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district, last night.

The deceased have been identified as accused Kali Munda’s elder brother Kandhe Munda, sister-in-law Simuli Munda and two nephews. The man hacked the four with an axe killing them on the spot, reports said, adding that a land dispute was prevailing between the two brothers.

On being informed, Bonai police reached the village, recovered the bodies for post-mortem and initiated investigation. The accused has been detained by cops for questioning in this connection. More details are awaited.
