Man kills uncle over dispute in Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: Family dispute claimed life of a person as a man allegedly killed his uncle at Sunarijhola village under Kabisuryanagar police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district, last night.

According to reports, a verbal duel erupted between T. Sambaria and his nephew over a dispute while other members of the family were sleeping. The matter took a violent turn as the accused attacked his uncle with a sharp weapon killing him on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. A murder case has been registered into the incident. On the other hand, the accused absconded after committing the crime and efforts were on by cops to apprehend him.
