Man misbehaves with woman at quarantine centre in Odisha

Phulbani: A man allegedly misbehaved with a woman at a quarantine centre at Daringbadi in Odisha’s Kandhamal district late night on Sunday.

According to reports, 29 returnees from other states (9 women, 19 men and a baby) were kept at BR Ambedkar College quarantine centre at Daringbadi. The accused, a resident of Hatimunda panchayat, misbehaved with the woman while she had gone to attend nature’s call on Sunday night.

The woman apprised the local sarpanch about the incident next morning and lodged a complaint with police. Cops have started investigation into the matter and detained the accused for questioning.
