Unidentified miscreants today shot dead a driver of a transport vehicle at Pattamundai block headquarters town in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

According to reports, three bike-borne miscreants pulled out the driver of a Tata Ace mini truck near Chhedra canal and fired shots at him.

The assailants fled the spot on their bike after committing the crime, reports added.

However, the identity of the assailants and the reason behind the murder is not known yet.
