Man thrashed to death by wife, sons, daughter in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a man was allegedly thrashed to death by his wife, three sons and a daughter at Daulatpur village under Pirahat police limits in Odisha’s Bhadrak district.

According to reports, a dispute was prevailing between Babua Das and his wife. He was sleeping outside the house last night, during which his wife, sons and daughter attacked him with an iron road.

The victim sustained critical injuries in the incident and was rescued by one of his relatives. He was initially rushed to the Tihidi Hospital and later shifted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital as his condition deteriorated.

However, he was declared dead at the hospital.

The mother of the deceased lodged a complaint with the police, on the basis of which cops detained one of his sons and started investigation.

Though the reason behind the attack was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that the incident was a fallout of extramarital affair.
