Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today appointed Manas Ranjan Mangaraj as its Chief Whip in the Rajya Sabha.

"Manas Ranjan Mangaraj, MP, Rajya Sabha is hereby appointed as Chief Whip of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Rajya Sabha with immediate effect," the party said in a release.

Notably, Mangaraj was elected to the Upper House of the Parliament in 2022.
