Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey offers prayer at Maa Mangala shrine in Odisha’s Puri

Kakatpur: Anusuiya Uikey, the Governor of Manipur, today visited the famous Maa Mangala shrine and paid her obeisance to the presiding deity in Kakatpur of Odisha’s Puri.

According to an official source, the Governor reached here in the morning after visiting the 12th Century Lord Jagannath temple in the district. On arrival, she was welcomed by the executive officer (EO) of the temple administration and was later taken to the shrine amid tight security.

The Governor had Darshan of Maa Mangala at sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

“I prayed for peace and prosperity of the people of Manipur,” the Governor said mediapersons.

Manipur Governor returned from Kakatpur to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon.
