Rayagada: The jawans of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today busted a Maoist camp during combing operation in Chandrapur forest of Rayagada district.
As per reports, a team of CRPF jawans were undertaking combing operations in the forest. In the meantime, Maoists fled the spot after getting prior information about the raid.
During a thorough search, the security personnel seized nine guns, 15 detonators, 11 gelatine sticks and eight rounds of live bullets.
Sources said CRPF jawans have intensified their operations in the areas after Maoists resorted to violence in Niyamgiri.
