Maoist training camp busted in Odisha’s Gandhamardan hills

Bolangir: The district police today unearthed a naxal camp at Gandhamardan hills in Harishankar of Bolangir district and seized several Maoist-related items.

Acting on an intelligence input, a team of Special Operations Group (SOG) raided a place in Gandhamardan hills and busted the naxal camp which was reportedly set up for training purposes.

However, no member of ultras could be nabbed. Sources said the naxals present in the camp must have got prior information on police raid and left the place in hurry.
