Maoists kill abductee in ‘praja court’ in Odisha

Malkangiri: Barbaric act of Maoists continues unabated in Odisha’s Malkangiri district as the red rebels murdered a villager, whom they had kidnapped, at ‘praja court’ (people’s court).

The extremists had abducted Guja Kabasi, Masa Sodi and Unga Kalmari from Kukurakunda village under Mathili police limits in the district on June 28, suspecting the trio as police informers.

The Maoists today killed Guja Kobasi by slitting his throat and released two others after thrashing them.
