Marital dispute: Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini vacates in-laws’ house in Cuttack
Cuttack: Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini has vacated her in-laws’ house at Nandi Sahi in the Silver City here as per the direction of Cuttack Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court.
Varsha has been engaged in a marital dispute with her actor-turned-politician husband Anubhav Mohanty for last several days. The duo has levelled several allegations and counter allegations against each other. They have also approached the judiciary in different levels against each other seeking justice in the marital discord.
Hearing a petition filed by Anubhav, the SDJM Court in Cuttack had directed the actress on June 2 to vacate her in-laws’ house within two months.
The SDJM court had directed Anubhav, the Lok Sabha MP from Kendrapara, to pay of sum of Rs 30,000 to Varsha before 10th of every month for an alternative accommodation.
Challenging the SDJM court order, Varsha moved the Cuttack District Judge Court, which had pronounced an interim stay on the lower court’s order.
However, Varsha informed the District Judge Court on August 30 that she would vacate Anubhav’s parental house within a month.
