Bhubaneswar: In order to help the people of Odisha fight against Covid-19, the FLO, the Women's wing of FICCI along with Humara Bachpan Trust today launched an initiative under which masks and sanitisers are being distributed to people from low socio-economic neighbourhoods for free.
Informal settlements are experiencing bigger challenge in this pandemic than the urban settlements in India and worldwide.
Hence to address this second wave of Covid-19, FLO the Women's wing of FICCI, in association with Humara Bachpan Trust (HBT), a Bhubaneswar based NGO, have launched an initiative, 'Mask On ODISHA’ which includes distribution of N-95 masks and sanitizers to the low socio economic neighbourhood of the society who cannot afford them for their daily use. Thus welcoming the hashtag campaign #breakchainmake change.
CS Sunita Mohanty Chairperson FICCI FLO, also stated that FLO is also taking other initiatives for the people of Odisha to help them at this pandemic times.
