Mayurbhanj Viral Video: Another clip of victim surfaces despite arrest of accused

Bhubaneswar: Several hours after the arrest of three persons in connection with a video in which a girl is forced by some youths to remove her clothes in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, another video of the same incident, shockingly, has surfaced and gone viral.

Worth mentioning, DGP Rajendra Prasad Sharma had said that letter will be written to Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube in a bid to stop further circulation of the video.

However, less than 24 hours after the assurance of the top cop, another video of the shameful incident has come to fore.

Moreover, police have already seized the mobile phone from the accused using which the incident was recorded by the wrongdoers.

Police suspect that a racket, comprising friends of the arrested persons, is circulating the video and making it viral.

In the 35 seconds-video, a youth covering his face with a piece of cloth is seen grabbing the hands of the girl forcibly after removing her clothes while some other persons are seen recording the incident with a mobile phone and clicking photos of the victim.
