Mechanic finds cobra under car bonnet in Odisha’s Jeypore

Bhubaneswar: A cobra was reportedly spotted under the bonnet of a car at a vehicle service centre in Odisha’s Jeypore town today.

One Aditya Patnaik from Nabarangpur brought his car to the service centre for some repair work. A mechanic spotted the cobra near the engine of the car when he lifted the bonnet, sources said.

The employees of the service centre later rescued the poisonous snake and released it outside, sources added.

The incident took place amid reports of the death of several people in Odisha due to snakebite in last few days.
