Bhubaneswar: In a good news for the residents of Odisha's Bhadrak, Health & Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das today informed that establishment of a new medical college in the district is under consideration.

A meeting between the minister and MLAs of the district was held today, where the legislators urged Das for a medical college in Bhadrak.

It has been decided to expand the Mother Child Hospital in Bhadrak and convert it into a 100-bedded hospital. An amount of Rs 6 crore will be spent for construction of road and boundary around the hospital, official sources said.
