Melody King Mohammad Sajid passes away

He had magic in his throat, the melody stage was set on fire with his voice. The music lovers were enthralled with his rendition of evergreen numbers Odia film numbers like , A pan wala babu…, Ma Lo Moli…., Labanga laga paan…., Malo bicha kamudila rati bela.

The popular Habib melody lead singer, Mohammad Sajid was only 54 years-old when he  passed away, yesterday.

On afternoon 2:55 pm on Wednesday he passed away in his residence on Bari lane, Khatbin Sahi, Cuttack. He was suffering from jaundice due to liver infection, his family has informed.

People from all walks of life, politicians,  film starts, well wishers, fans and family members paid their last respects to the popular singer.

The body was taken out in a procession across the neighbourhood before being buried in the Satichaura burial ground in the city.
