MeT issues thunderstorm warning for these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued thunderstorm warning for eight districts of Odisha today.

The districts likely to experience thunderstorm/lightning with gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH and light to moderate rainfall at one or two places are Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Koraput and Mayurbhanj, a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in these areas between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm, the bulletin added.
