MeT predicts thudersquall, hail, gusty wind in Odisha

The MeT department today predicted thudersquall, hail and gusty wind in some places in Odisha.

The latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate thundersquall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Khurda , Cuttack, Jagatsingpuir and Gajapati from 1500 hrs IST to 1900 IST, Bhubaneswar MeT Centre said.

Light showers and cool breeze in the morning had halted normal life in several parts of Odisha including capital city today.
