Migrant found dead near quarantine centre in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A quarantined migrant was found dead near a quarantine centre in Krushnapur panchayat under Badamba police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district today.

The deceased has been identified as Brajabandhu Rana. He had returned from Mumbai and was kept at the quarantine centre since May 26. However, his body was found near the boundary wall of the quarantine centre this morning.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. The reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained. Police have started investigation into the matter.
