Atharabanki: A minor boy allegedly jumped into Kaudia river from a bridge on it near Atharabanki locality of Paradip town in Jagatsinghpur district, today afternoon. He later went missing.

The boy has been identified as 16-year-old Trilochan Lenka, who hails from Lakapada in the district.

According to a source, the boy undressed himself and kept the garments on the bridge along with his mobile phone. Later, he jumped off the bridge for reasons not known yet. Some people working on the bridge noticed this and informed the local police.

On being informed, Atharabanki police reached the spot and launched a search operation. An ODRAF team was pressed into service to trace the missing boy. The operation was underway till the time when this report was filed.

Police have seized the pant, shirt, and mobile phone of Trilochan.
