Minor boy rapes 5-year-old girl in Odisha’s Kendrapara

Kendrapara: In a shocking incident, a minor boy allegedly raped a five-year-old girl at Madhupur village under Rajnagar police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

As per a complaint lodged by the mother of the victim with police, the accused, a 16-year-old boy, took the girl to a farmland yesterday by luring her with chocolate and raped her there.

She narrated the ordeal to her mother, following which the complaint was lodged. The victim has suffered injuries on her genital and was undergoing treatment at Rajnagar hospital, police sources said.

On the other hand, police have started investigation into the incident and questioned the accused.
