Minor girl raped by neighbour in Odisha’s Rourkela

Rourkela: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Gopabandhupalli area of Odisha’s Rourkela city, last night.

According to reports, the victim and her 10-year-old brother went to their neighbour’s house to sleep there during night as the parents of the duo had gone outside.

While the two were sleeping, a family member of the neighbour took the girl to a room where he allegedly raped her.

Mother of the victim today lodged a complaint in this regard at the Plant Site police station, on the basis of which accused Habil Hans was arrested under the POCSO Act and various sections of the IPC.
