Minor girl strangled to death by father in Odisha’s Nuapada

Nuapada: A minor girl was strangled to death allegedly by her father over family feud at Kendubahara village under Dharambandha police limits in Odisha’s Nuapada district.

According to reports, Gajanan Majhi had altercation with his wife over some family matter at home. Out of fury, he rushed to his minor daughter and strangulated her to death.

On receiving information, police detained the accused father and seized the body, informed Dharambandha police IIC Binod Sethy today.
